College students are invited to join a career panel about the special exhibition Luxury & Loss: Feather, Shell, Tusk, Horn. Hear from Walters’ staff members in various departments about their career path and how they brought the new exhibition to life. After the panel, take a self-guided tour of the show.

3–4 p.m.: Career Panel
4–5 p.m.: Self guided tour

Luxury & Loss: Feather, Shell, Tusk, Horn looks at how art and luxury goods made from wild animal materials testify to the enduring human desire to capture the beauty and power of wild animals while exploring contemporary responses to society’s evolving relationship with nature, providing an opportunity for reflection and reconciliation.

This event is planned in coordination with MICA's Joseph Meyerhoff Center for Career Development.
