Take inspiration from Robert Seldon Duncanson's serene landscape, River Scene, as we consider the way he and other Black artists have made a space for themselves in art history. Let's create a communal landscape where there is space for everyone during this collaborative installment of First Thursdays: Make & Mingle!

First Thursdays: Make and Mingle is a drop-in program designed for adults to get creative and socialize. We supply all the materials to make art together. A selection of food and drink will be available for purchase, so you can enjoy a glass of wine, coffee, or a snack while you’re crafting. College students can show their student ID for one free cup of coffee. All visitors can receive a 10% discount on purchases made at the Museum Store and Cafe during this event simply by registering.
